He showed off their “baby” Christmas tree last week as Brooklyn Beckham and his fiancée, Nicola Peltz revealed that they had already begun getting into the festive spirit.
Brooklyn, 22, gushed, “Our tree is so baby,” as he took to his Instagram stories to share the first decoration at the new five-bedroom Beverly Hills mansion he recently bought with the American-born model, 26.
It follows growing speculation among fans that they are expecting their first child following an apparent string of recent hints dropped by the couple, who surprised friends by opting for a family home over a trendier, smaller pad in the Hollywood Hills.
A source says, “They’ve made no secret of how broody they are. They’ve already ear-marked one of the rooms in their new home for the nursery and Nicola’s been excitedly picking out colour schemes and discussing plans to ‘baby proof’ their pool.”
And now pals say Posh – who was 22 when she had Brooklyn, four months before she married David in July 1999 – is seriously considering relocating to LA to be a hands-on grandmother when the time comes.
Upon announcing his engagement to the billionairess last summer, Brooklyn said, “I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day.”

Nicola then sparked pregnancy rumours when sporting a very authentic-looking baby bump on the set of her upcoming film, Lola, in June. Fans were quick to question whether the star – who plays an expectant mother in the movie, which she also directed – could have been pregnant in real life, as when she posted the picture it wasn’t clear she was wearing a fake bump for a film role, with one commenting, “It’s a very convincing baby bump.”
The gossip mill went into overdrive once more in August when she posted an Instagram snap of Brooklyn kissing her cheek as she stood in a billowing dress designed by her future mother-in-law, Victoria Beckham, which Nicola captioned “baby b”.
Fans interpreted it as a pregnancy announcement – congratulating the “new mum and dad” and excitedly celebrating Brooklyn’s famous parents, Victoria, 47 and husband, David, 46, for “becoming grandparents soon”. Meanwhile, speculation is growing that if Brooklyn and Nicola were expecting, it would prompt Posh to return to America full-time.

Mel’s sex claims
Mel B, 43, sensationally revealed last week that she'd had a boozy night of passion with Geri, 46 – who is said to be furious with her, as her daughter Bluebell, 13, could read the story. A worried Mel C, 45, hinted the fallout could ruin the reunion, responding to Mel B's exposé by saying, "That's it then, the tour is off."
Geri’s posh new life
Geri married F1 boss Christian Horner in 2015 and replaced the tongue-poking andpeace-signs with spiritualism sessionsand cookery classes. She has a society neighbour, Lady Joanna Wellesley, and a menagerie of goats and donkeys at her country manor. She also reportedly stopped a photo shoot with the Spices so she could meditate – and her new lifestyle is said to have irked Northern lass Mel B.
Manager fallout
The Spices sacked old boss Simon Fuller in 1997, amid reports he'd had a relationship with Emma Bunton, 43 – which they both denied – but he's involved with the tour in partnership with Mel C's Modest Management agency. He's also responsible for Brand Beckham – which won't sit well with the girls if they reportedly continue to clash with Posh, 44.
Post & Mel B's feud
Fans want a guest appearance fromPosh, but she doesn't get on with Mel B. Mel reportedly described Posh as "a bit of a bitch" in an interview last month, and allegedly told her to "f*** off" during a phone call last year. She then dressed up as her for Halloween. Posh also said the girls used to switch off her mic on-stage!
Nerves over past humiliation
Their 2007 comeback single Headlines was a flop, limping into the charts at number 20, and they fear the same will happen with the tour. Emma suffered anxiety before tickets went on sale, while Geri is reportedly taking singing lessons to avoid embarrassment.
Fury at Jess Glynne payout
Allegedly without the girls' say so, tour managers booked Jess Glynne as their support act, agreeing to a hefty £1.3million fee. The Spice Girls, who are rumoured to be pocketing £2.2m each, are said to be furious, suggesting tensions will rise in the dressing rooms. Jess, however, said she only agreed to the tour as she was such a massive Spice Girls fan and wanted to "hang out" with them.
Wardrobe woes
Stage costumes are causing problems as the foursome struggle to agree whether their fans want to see them wearing their '90s outfits – think Union Jack dresses – or more grown-up attire. While Mel B is apparently "desperate to relaunch herself as an edgy, sexy star to compete with the likes of Rita Ora", Geri wants a more wholesome image to appeal to the older, original fans.
Victoria is still cashing in
It's no secret that money is a big motivation for the tour. But Victoria will still make millions without stepping foot on stage, as she owns an equal stake in the band's brand. This has reportedly caused fury among the band members.
A fifth spice?
The Girls are reportedly discussing having a "fifth Spice". Comedian Jack Whitehall and superfan Adele have offered their services, while The X Factor's Saara Aalto revealed Mel C told her she could join. But would that mean splitting their earnings even further?
Old animosities
Although Emma is seen as the sweet one, she's no pushover. She may have forgiven Geri for quitting the band in 2003, but reveals that she won't stay quiet if the Girls squabble. "I was never afraid to say exactly what I thought. It's still the same now," she said recently.
Victoria and David – who also share Romeo, 19, Cruz, 16, and 10-year-old Harper – spent six years in California when David played for LA Galaxy, before relocating back to London in 2013 where Posh’s fashion label is based.
Insiders recently told Closer that the former Spice Girl had been mulling over a move back Stateside due to Brooklyn’s LA base, David spending large chunks of time in Miami for his soccer team, Inter Miami FC, and Romeo’s signing with Fort Lauderdale FC.
The source says, “Vic’s always known Brooklyn wants to be a young dad like David. She loves the idea of being a grandmother and wants her grandchildren to be as close to her as her and David’s parents are to their kids, sharing a special bond that they’ve all been fortunate enough to experience.
“She’s said that the thought of only seeing a grandchild once every few months and having to share special moments thousands of miles away over FaceTime is very difficult. It’s another reason why she’s increasingly drawn to the idea of moving back, even if it means she and David spend half the year there so she could be hands-on with her label in Europe.
“However, she’s torn – she’s worried about uprooting Harper and Cruz as they’re settled in the UK and is concerned about being away from her business for long periods, especially at such a shaky time.
“There’s also taking her kids away from their grandparents and being so far away from her family again, but she’s hoping she could alleviate that by buying a home with a separate lodge in the grounds so they ccould come to stay for long chunks of time, too.”
Meanwhile, Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding plans are still said to be on the backburner after the couple had to postpone due to the pandemic. He recently revealed, “If Covid wasn’t a thing, we’d have liked to have been married already.”
The source adds, “With the pandemic delaying their plans, it’s made them realise nothing is certain and they don’t want to put their lives on hold, not knowing if their wedding could be rescheduled again.
“Having a family is their top priority. They’ve made it clear it won’t put off their baby dream – and they know their families will be delighted for them.”

Backlash over David’s ‘hypocrisy’ could also fuel a move to the US
David Beckham was snapped schmoozing officials in Qatar last week after being slammed for signing a £150m deal with a country accused of human rights abuses and where homosexuality is illegal.
Last month, insiders revealed that Posh was devastated by the storm of backlash her husband received over his controversial deal to be the “face of Qatar” for the 2022 World Cup, which saw him labelled a “greedy hypocrite” by campaigners, who called for the UNICEF ambassador to be removed from his role.
And while PR expert Alex Silver told Closer that the only way to salvage his reputation was to bow out of the mega-bucks contract, pals say turning a blind eye to the criticism with his latest visit is another reason Posh could potentially leave the UK.
A source says, “Victoria knows this is a disaster for them and could be the nail in the coffin for Brand Beckham.
“While David’s been torn apart in the UK, the US media has barely touched on it in comparison and, while she’s still devastated by how it’s all played out, it’s made her even more tempted to move back to America where, despite not being as famous, their reputations remain unscathed.”
