The star is feeling broody as she helps friend Meghan Markle prepare for her baby, but husband David has doubts about adding to their family
She’s reportedly helping mother-to-be Meghan Markle with the interior design of her new home, Frogmore Cottage, as she awaits the arrival of the royal baby, while her best pal Tana Ramsay welcomed her fifth child just two weeks ago.
And insiders reveal that seeing her friends so loved-up and happy in family life has started to make Victoria Beckham feel she’s missing out, and she’s longing for that same excitement of having another baby with her husband, David.

A source says, “Vic is pleased to see her friends so happy, but she can’t help but compare it to her own life. While Meghan and Tana seem to be on cloud nine, Vic spends a lot of time working hard on her fashion business while David is away, and she’s craving that honeymoon feeling from when they first fell in love.”
David, 43, and Posh, 44 – who have Brooklyn, 20, Romeo, 16, Cruz, 14, and Harper, seven – have seen their relationship come under scrutiny ever since they married 19 years ago.

Reports of rifts and affairs – which have been denied – have followed the couple and, last year, David made headlines when he described their marriage as being “hard work”.
To make matters worse, Posh is said to be finding it difficult seeing Brooklyn fly the nest. Meanwhile, David continues to travel away from home, working on his many projects, having launched his own Major League Soccer team in Miami and bought a £3m pub in Notting Hill with his friend Guy Ritchie.
And pals say that having two of her closest friends, Tana, 44, and Eva Longoria, also 44– who gave birth to son Santiago in June – bonding with their babies has made Posh want the same.
The source adds, “Vic is finding it increasingly tough to be at home without Brooklyn and David around. The house feels really empty. She fears that in just a few years, Romeo and Cruz will be next to leave, and she’ll be left alone with Harper.
“She’s beginning to battle empty nest syndrome and feels as though the worst is yet to come. It has made her wonder if having another baby would make her happier as it seems to have worked wonders for Tana and her husband Gordon.
"There’s still a part of her that hopes she will conceive again – she’d love another baby, and to share in that happiness with David.
“While he’s sympathetic to her feelings, he told Vic that he can’t help but feel the timing isn’t right. She was then left feeling heartbroken at the idea she may not be a mum again.”
