In an interview with a UK newspaper, the Essex hunk revealed that he is taking things slow with his co-star.
“Lauren isn't the sort of person who reveals all of her cards at once. She's someone that likes to take her time.
“She hasn't mentioned anything to me about it yet, but as she's older than I am, she might be thinking about having kids before I'm ready to.”
He continued: “I certainly don't want a family for a while yet. I'd have a baby in two or three years at the very earliest.”
Lewis, 24 then acknowledged the 8-year age gap between him and Lauren, 32.
“The age difference between me and Lauren might cause a rift at some point,” he said.
Before he met Lauren, Lewis went to extreme measures in order to find out the ideal age of a woman he could date.
“Before we got together, I took a test to figure out what my recommended age range is when it comes to dating and the oldest woman I can date is 34. Lauren is 31 at the moment so we should be okay.”
Lewis and Lauren are set to return to our screens in the next series of TOWIE, which starts in just a few weeks time.
