TOWIE’s Pete Wicks reveals he’ll NEVER date Chloe Sims after she calls him her ‘soulmate’

The Only Way Is Essex's Pete Wicks has revealed he will NEVER date co-star and best friend Chloe Sims, even though the Essex beauty has admitted 'Pirate' Pete is her "soul mate."

And there's one reason why he won't take their friendship to the next level - he doesn't want to hurt her if it all goes Pete Tong (pun intended).

Speaking to The Sun, Pete said, "Me and Chloe have been mates for so long it is one of those things I would never want to hurt or ruin our friendship.

"I have had a bad history with women and Chloe has been hurt before so there's no way either of us would risk what we have.

"I know a lot of people would like to see us together. I do love her to bits as a person and I would never not want her in my life but just as friends."

Pete added, "We have too much to lose to ever risk it."

However, it's not that he doesn't want to date Chloe because of the pressure, Pete candidly admitted he's not ready for a relationship.

He said, "I've come to the conclusion that I'm still not ready for a relationship yet.

"I am happy being single and that's the way I need to stay for a while. I’ve made a lot of mistakes in the past and relationships are very hard and takes a lot of commitment."

Pete's comments come after Chloe told the publication that she would love to see where things could go with Pete. Well, kind off...

The 37-year-old said, "I think Pete is my soul mate. He definitely is. We are so close and I do love him. I say to him all the time that I love him, but I don't know if soulmates have to be together in a sexual relationship."

Though she does admit that looks wise, Pete is not her type, as she revealed she prefers "taller, older and bigger" guys.

However, it looks like Chloe has since moved on, as she was spotted out and about with Pamela Anderson's ex-boyfriend Adil Rami.

Chloe was seen leaving the Chiltern Firehouse with the French footballer last Saturday, after he FLEW IN from France to take out the mother-of-one.

And it doesn't stop there, as Chloe has since revealed a second date is on the cards.
