Towie’s Demi Sims has delighted with her latest Instagram post, that has definite overtones of an early and controversial Kate Moss photo.
In the snap, Demi focuses a sultry gaze on the camera as she poses in sheer lingerie and holds a Mickey Mouse soft toy over her private parts.
And we can’t help but compare the snap with a certain photograph of a 16-year-old Kate, taken by photographer Kate Garner, which drew criticism when it was published in 1990 over claims it sexualised girlhood.
"A picture of Moss clasping a teddy bear while wearing thigh-high black stockings is unnerving, as it blurs the line between girlhood and adulthood,” wrote journalist Sarah Moroz in The Cut.
“Garner recalls that the teddy bear, which she’d brought to the shoot, was ‘thrust into [Moss’s] hands to keep her breasts secret.’”

Despite the controversial undertones, Demi’s fans were LOVING her take on the classic pin up shot.
“Wow Demi looking amazing darling,” wrote one impressed commenter, while another added, “Well this is a little bit naughty 😍”.

Demi was involved in some controversy of her own in 2019 when she began dating Love Island star Megan Barton-Hanson after meeting on Celebs Go Dating in August.
But things turned messy when they reportedly split up just ONE DAY after filming wrapped and Megan got together with Demi’s pal, Chelcee Grimes.
“I was falling for her pretty hard and to be honest I feel like she completely used me. She broke up with me the day after filming finished,” she told The Sun at the time.
“She spoke so much about loyalty and kicked off that I messaged someone openly from the show and all the time she was messaging someone behind my back.”
