He’s currently looking for love in the Love Island villa but it turns out Tommy Fury had his eye on another famous face before appearing on the show.
It’s been reported that the 20-year-old boxer hounded former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger for a date after they shared flirty messages with each other on social media.
In unearthed Instagram comments, Lauren wrote “sexy AF” under a video of one of Tommy’s fights, to which he replied: “my gal,” with a love heart emoji.
“Tommy was sending her flirty messages asking to meet up. They spent a lot of time talking on FaceTime, and she started to fancy him,” a source told The Mirror.
“She asked if he had a girlfriend. He said he couldn’t be more single. He’d say he couldn’t wait to meet up for a drink, but it never happened.
“He was really complimentary to her and was always saying how sexy she was. Lauren went off him romantically and they never got round to organising a date.”

The source adds: “She is hoping the claims his ex has made aren’t true. She wishes him all the best.”

Tommy is currently coupled up with 19-year-old social media influencer Molly-Mae Hague in the Love Island villa, despite the best efforts of Irish ring girl Maura Higgins who took immediately took a fancy to the boxer upon entering the show.
Maura set tongues wagging with her raunchy behaviour towards Tommy, with viewers even calling for her to be removed from the show for repeatedly attempting to kiss him.
Maura’s ex-fiancé, however, has claimed that she’s faking her ‘sex mad’ persona in an attempt to grab attention.
“Maura wants to be famous and she is very ambitious and determined," he told The Sun on Sunday.
“The Maura you see on Love Island is not the Maura I know. For me, she is putting on an act.
“I haven’t watched the scene where she was hitting on Tommy Fury but she never did anything like that to me. I’m not even sure he’s her type."
