Superstar DJ Tom Zanetti and Made in Chelsea 'Duchess' (not a real Duchess) Sophie Hermann gave us serious Millie Mackintosh and Pro Green vibes when they met and fell in love in Celeb's Go Dating's Covid-friendly series in Spring 2021, filmed in a £30m mansion in the English countryside.
But despite hitting it off on screen when they both failed to connect with members of the public (quelle surprise) and Tom even making some cameos in Sophie's home turf in Chelsea, it wasn't to last and the pair split months later.
Tom confirmed the end of their relationship, saying, "We have gone our separate ways, yes. I wish the duchess all the best though.
"We had a great time getting to know each other and made memories for life, but we live very different lives and being so busy, we just couldn’t commit," he told new! magazine.
Sophie also broke down in tears on Made in Chelsea over their break up.

E4's premier dating show might not have the best track record when it comes to pairing celebs with regular folk, but they've got a far better success rate when it comes to sleb-on-sleb action. Rumours first started swirling around unlikely couple Sophie and Tom way back in January, when filming for the covid-safe Mansion series first begun.

By the end of the series, after each trying their hand dating ill-matched civilians, Tom and Sophie were a bonafide couple, with dating coach Anna Williamson telling Closer online, "It's not something we endorse, but obviously every series we do there does tend to be wandering eyes amongst the celebrities."They do become very very close, it is like a family, and though it's not something we encourage, it is real, and Paul and I are genuinely there to see who potentially has a connection with someone else."

Back on the outside world after filming wrapped, Tom and Sophie drew criticism when they each not-so-covertly shared social media footage of the other on what appeared to be a romantic Valentine's Day date. At the height of the UK's lockdown, and with Sophie based in Chelsea and Tom up in Manchester, it didn't go down too well with followers.

With their V Day slip-up conveniently forgotten, it wasn't long before Sophie confirmed their relationship for real during a Q&A with fellow CGD sign up Chloe Ferry.I'm really enjoying watching you and Tom, it's really nice to see, very cute. Can I be a bridesmaid? Will there be cake?" gushed Chloe, adding, "I'm never allowed at a wedding because I get too drunk and I ruin it."Sophie agreed, "We're cute, right? If we get married, absolutely bridesmaid number one. My concern is that you'll get absolutely sloshed before anything starts."

Fast forward a few short weeks and Tom was gushing exclusively to Closer about his new girlfriend."It came together so authentically. We met each other on the first day, but I never knew that she liked me," he said."I've never seen Made In Chelsea so I was like 'Wow, who's that?'. I didn't know who she was. Behind-the-scenes, you didn't see that me and her were talking quite often, and that was from day one."

In April, the unthinkable happened when superstar DJ Tom made his debut on Made in Chelsea, with Sophie introducing him to best boy friend Fred as her boyfriend.Speaking on FUBAR Radio's Access All Areas podcast, he said, "I didn't know what to expect. But I kind of thought it would be more like [the cameras] following you around and stuff like that. I didn't realise it would be, you know, like settings, like set up in a way,"

By June, the fairytale was over when Sophie and Tom unfollowed each other on social media, with a Tom saying, "We have gone our separate ways, yes. I wish the duchess all the best though."We had a great time getting to know each other and made memories for life, but we live very different lives and being so busy, we just couldn't commit."However just days later Tom was linked to Instagram model Chloe Saxon after social media footage showed them looking cosy on a night out.

And after his fling with Chloe, things got even weirder when Tom was papped with none other than Love Island's Arabella Chiafter meeting on the set of a fashion shoot in Ibiza. "They met on an I Saw It First shoot last month and they got really close really quickly," said a source. "Now they're both in Ibiza and they've spent quite a few nights together."
We’re not going to lie we loved the couple together and willed them to be together. While we didn’t expect their relationship to last FOREVER - celebs dating celebs on CGD usually doesn’t last, you only need to look at the forbidden romances to see that - butTom and Sophieproved us wrong, and were together for about six months after leaving the mansion.
It even meant Tom was able to join Made In Chelsea with Sophie. Speaking to us, Sophie told us how he managed to get along well with most of the cast. "The great thing about Tom is that you can literally drop him anywhere and he gets along with everyone," she said in April.
"So that's a really great quality to have. And it was really important - especially for Fred - and they all liked him very much."

But, according to Sophie, he did have to have a little bit of a makeover - mainly ditching the skinny jeans. "We kind of did a little makeover with him," Sophie says.
"He's not allowed to wear jeans that are three times too small any more and cut off his blood circulation! I don't want to change him, but I hate the tight jeans."
But it seems it didn't come as a complete surprise with Sophie seemingly hinting at the break up days before the news broke.
In an exclusive interview with Grazia, she said, "We have never defined anything because we only had the time to see each other for a short amount of time. It was nice to see him again, and to actually be able to hang out."
