Phillip Schofield has hit back at recent reports
Long gone are the days when Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden kissed on This Morning as things seem to be heating up in the pair's reported feud.
It was recently reported that Amanda and Phil were at odds over Holly Willoughby's This Morning replacement.
Last year, ITV viewers saw Holly Willoughby step in and replace Ant McPartlin on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! following his drink driving arrest that led to him returning to rehab.
While Holly was in the jungle, Rochelle Humes replaced her on This Morning which apparently left Amanda Holden 'shocked' as she was allegedly told she would land the role.

The BGT judge apparently complained to ITV bosses that she missed out on co-hosting This Morning after Phil branded her "difficult to manage".
Now, Phil has responded to all the drama on Twitter and shut down the reports by writing: "The end of another really sad weekend.
"When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories from nameless ‘sources’."
He added: "Obviously I’ll take it on the chin.. I just hope you know me better."
Lots of his followers rushed to support Phil including This Morning's psychologist Emma Kenny, Dancing on Ice pro Matt Evers, and even ITV responded to his tweet with a love heart.
His response comes shortly after claims that Phil chose Rochelle over Amanda, despite the fact that the This Morning host and BGT judge have previously worked together - including back in 2014 when Holly went on maternity leave.
A former daytime TV executive told The Sun: "Phillip actively campaigned for Rochelle Humes to get the job despite Amanda being more experienced — and having been told privately she’d got the gig.
"She feels Phil unfairly used his powers of persuasion. She was told he’d chosen Rochelle because she was easier to ‘manage’ on air - and understandably that incensed her."
The source went on to say: "For years, Phillip has been the king of daytime TV, and seen as a bit of a God, utterly untouchable."
They added that while "things are increasingly toxic when the cameras stop rolling" some people at ITV are "secretly delighted" it's all coming to light.

Amanda threw shade at Phil on her radio show when co-host Jamie Theakston asked what she wouldn't want to find in her home.
She savagely responded: "Spiders, flies and Phillip Schofield."
Today [24], she also claimed that a few months ago she attempted to meet up with him for a coffee but he didn't respond to her text.
Not only that, but it was just earlier this month that there were reports of secret tension between duo Holly and Phil following their latest magazine shoot.
An ITV spokesperson said: "Presenter line-ups on This Morning change regularly. Final decisions are made by producers, not presenters.
"Phillip is a much-loved broadcaster and part of the ITV family. He’s a consummate professional and held in high regard at ITV.
“Amanda is also held in high regard as a judge on one of our biggest shows."
