Susan Boyle has just had a much-needed 18 month break from music, in which time, she has been overhauling her life due to a diabetes diagnosis and has lost a mighty two stone in the process. Susan looks great and is evidently taking onboard a refreshing outlook for the future.
When asked if she had set a date for a new tour, she explains she hasn't yet.
Susan explained, 'Do a little at a time. Record, see how it does. Then build it up from there. When you have been ill, it’s a bit like a house. You rebuild the floor first.'
The 55 year old Scottish phenomenon, who shot to fame in 2009 on Britain’s Got Talent, has previously opened up about her Asperger's Syndrome and revealed in an interview with The Sunday Mirror that performing was tough.
She admitted, 'You can feel like death, but you have to put it on. The audience wants to see someone smiley.'
Susan admits she does want children, though she's worried her rescue cat Tess will get jealous.
'I would love to adopt a child too but my cat might get jealous. I don’t want to see a cat and a baby fighting. It’s something I might do later.'
Susan is worth £25 million, has had 6 worldwide-hit albums and is blessed with a voice that can bring any room to a mesmerising halt. She has just finished her 7th album which includes a selection of Christmas classics. Something your Nanna would love in her stocking, that's for sure.
We are glad to see Susan is back on her feet and feeling better than ever. It's great to have you back, Su-bo!
