Stephanie Davis bravely spoke out about her experience with domestic violence
Former Celebrity Big Brother star Stephanie Davis has faced backlash after sharing a video of herself dancing to Chris Brown's music following his violent past.
The 24-year-old mum has had a huge transformation since her split from Jeremy McConnell; she's hit the gym, got herself a new man AND she's dancing again.
Steph shared a video of herself dancing to Chris Brown's song F--k You Back To Sleep and wrote alongside the clip: "Back to what I love🖤
"The beautiful @lisafxox choreography! Looking forward to my next class.
"Should have filmed before we were tired and my hat was falling off ha! #chrisbrown #booty #highheels #F**Kyoubacktosleepgirl #feelinggurrrr"

Although lots of fans have praised Steph's dancing skills, some couldn't help but point out that Chris Brown has previously been convicted of domestic violence against his ex-girlfriend Rihanna. One person wrote: "Probably not the best choice in music considering both his rocky past and yours having so many similarities. Just sayin"
Another commented: "Victim of domestic abuse promoting known abuser ☹️ "
Someone else said: "You’re a great dancer but I don’t understand why, after speaking out against DV, you’re dancing to a Chris Brown song? Don’t you know the history of him and Rihanna?"
The backlash comes shortly after Steph bravely opened up about her experience of domestic violence, she told Lorraine: "Part of domestic violence is that it chips away at you, you feel like you’re nothing without them.
"I told my life coach I didn’t think I’d get to Christmas. I was suicidal. I really was. It’s hard to think I got to that point."
She went on to say: "He’d start with little things like throw the phone charger at my head when I was holding my little boy and it got worse - I won’t get into it because I don’t need to stoop that low.
"What I’ve got to accept is, you can’t argue with someone like that. If Jeremy had killed me he’d think he was right.
"He’s obviously not well at the moment."
Despite the few negative comments, some of her fans rushed to defend her with one arguing: "It doesn’t mean she supports domestic violence she likes the song that’s it."
Another pointed out: "It's a song. She is dancing to a song. Grow up"
One more added: "That is the past why do you feel the need to bring that up was a very long time ago he has turned his life around since he said sorry to her and went to jail and got help. People change don’t stop anyone from liking his music no one agrees with what he did."

Following their turbulent relationship last year things came to a head for Steph and Jeremy after they were both arrested for assaulting each other. The Irish star was later found guilty of attacking the mother of his child and then he went to jail after breaching his community service.
Steph has now been cleared of attacking her ex-boyfriend and has been praised for speaking out about her personal experience of domestic violence.
