She only welcomed her baby daughter Belle last February but a source tells Closer that Stacey Solomon is already considering adding another little one to her family with EastEnders' Joe Swash.

Stacey, 34, and Joe, 42, jetted off last week with their blended brood for a family holiday in the sun. And our insider says the trip has left the star feeling broody – despite previously saying she had no plans to welcome baby number six.

The source says, "Those closest to Stacey know that she is not yet done with having children. She has put it out there that she doesn’t want a new addition, but that’s honestly just to get everyone off her case. She’s only 34, and she feels like she’s got as much energy as she did with her first child – and realistically she’s got years to make up her mind, especially as more and more women are having kids later in life. Stacey has dropped a few hints, but otherwise she’s keeping her cards close to her chest.”

Stacey has previously opened up about her chaotic life with her five children – lovingly nicknamed “pickles.” The TV personality is mum to Zachary, 16, with childhood sweetheart Dean Cox, Leighton, 12, with ex-fiance Aaron Barnham, as well as Rex, five, Rose, two, and Belle, one, with EastEnders star Joe. Alongside her own children, Stacey is also step-mum to Joe’s son Harry, 17, who he shares with ex-fiancée Emma Sophocleous, 39.

Stacey and Joe revealed they were jetting off on holiday earlier this month for a much needed break, with the star noticeably quieter on social media. The Loose Women panelist shared sweet snaps of herself enjoying a beach day with Rose, writing, look a little different from my last holiday, but just as beautiful. Doing everything to make sure my girls know how beautiful they are and don’t measure their beauty against anyone else."

And our source says that Stacey’s social media silence could be down to more date nights away with Joe. They reveal, "During these summer months, Stacey has found herself feeling incredibly broody. Some of her friends even feel she might be on a secret baby-making holiday with Joe, as she’s not been on her socials much and seems focussed on them just having a lovely time together. She’s mentioned in passing about having ‘happy accidents’ when it comes to kids, and she always feels broodier when they’re all together and having fun. Some of her pals are seriously wondering if there might be a surprise in the very near future.”

It’s not the first time rumours have swirled of the Sort Your Life Out star’s baby dreams. Back in May, Stacey shared, "My favourite thing in the world is being a mum. I get so much joy from watching our little ones grow and getting to be a part of their world." Joking that she "would love more," Stacey laughed, "Joe will be off for a vasectomy when he sees this."

The comments came just months after a tearful Stacey shared a video of herself baking youngest daughter Belle’s first birthday cake, saying, "I’ve made every single one of my babies’ first birthday cakes [and] this is probably the last one."

Although the star – who tied the knot with Joe back in 2022 in the grounds of their family home – appeared to rule out any future pickles, Stacey may have had a change of heart. Insiders revealed last week that she was left feeling emotional over what could be her family’s last ever holiday all together. With eldest son Zach now a teenager, the insider revealed Stacey worries that it won’t be long before he begins to shun family getaways for fun trips away with his own friends.

"A large part of all this has been watching Zach grow up and get his first job, which feels like it just happened in a flash," says our source. "She’s been imagining all her other children flying the nest, and before she knows it, she’ll be home alone with Joe. That’s not going to be for a very long time, but Stacey is prone to worrying. The idea of being pregnant again really calms her down and soothes her. It takes away any immediate anxiety, as you’ve got no choice but to focus on what’s right there in front of you – your growing baby."

The source adds, "While Stacey knows she has many baby-making years left, she wouldn’t want to leave it too long between the kids as she loves what a tight little team they are right now. She worries that if there was a huge gap, one child might feel left out. Right now, it’s the perfect bunch – she just feels like she could add at least one more, if not a few!"
