Although Sheridan has not yet confirmed what her baby's name will be, she previously opened up to Closer magazine and admitted she had discussed naming him after her late father.

"I think all the names we’ve got so far have been pretty traditional," she admitted.

"We thought about naming him after my dad, but my dad’s called Colin, which is a bit… Well, as much as we miss him and love him, it’s like, ‘Storm, River… Colin?!’ But you never know."

Sheridan first sparked pregnancy rumoursback in October, after heading out to perform on a cruise ship and discussing her "morning sickness" with the audience. She then confirmed the amazing news in a tweet.

Sheridan recently starred in Isolation Stories, which was filmed from her home and aired on ITV last week. For her storyline, Sheridan played a heavily pregnant woman who was expecting a baby with her married lover.

Speaking about appearing on the show, Sheridan also opened up about how lockdown has affected her, "I’m lucky I have the baby coming soon so it’s been a focus for me. I think it would be hard for people like the character I play in the drama, as she is on her own. And obviously it’s hard for all the families being kept apart at the minute, so I count myself lucky and we have adapted to this new 'normal' for now.

"Clapping for the carers and watching all the beautiful situations happening have put things into perspective. It’s a terribly sad time for so many. But people coming together encouraging each other to stay strong has been a wonderful thing to witness."
