The formerCoronation Street actor is no more the shaven-headed bad boy we remember from his Aidan Connor days – he’s taken on a decidedly more rugged look and, we have to say, he’s looking hot.
He initially started growing his now-impressive facial fuzz back in October, telling Ok! Magazine it was for an upcoming film role.
“I can’t say much but I’ve just finished my very first film so that’ll be out this time next year, we’re very excited," he said.
“I thought I’d keep the beard for a bit, it’s quite funny actually because people I know don’t recognize me.
“I’m going to keep it for a little while because it’s good for castings and I’m taking a stepout of my comfort zone and people can see me in a different light.”

Shayne first rose to fame winning the X Factor in 2005, under mentor Simon Cowell.
