[Gogglebox’s Scarlett Moffatt made headlines this week when she was spotted wearing what LOOKED an awful lot like an engagement ring](https://closeronline.co.uk/celebrity/news/gogglebox-scarlett-moffatt-engagement-ring-marriage-wedding/).
And now she’s making huge waves on social media again - only, this time, it’s all about her hair.
Yup, the telly-watching babe has swapped her long dip-dyed blonde locks, but she’s now switched it up something a little more gothic.
Taking to instagram, she shared a shot of her long black-and-grey waves, posing prettily in a pair of distressed jeans and fishnet tights.
She captioned the shot: “Mermaid hair - thanking you @bradvon3 #mermaid #mermaidhair #extensions #greyhair”

She looks beaut, doesn’t she?
So it’s unsurprising that it wasn’t long before she was flooded with compliments from her loyal followers.
One wrote: “You look amazing!”
Another added: “Stunning young lady.”
“Loving the look,” added a fellow Instagram user.
And plenty of others praised her Topshop jeans, which she DIY-ripped herself using scissors and a cheese grater.
"They're so lush - love that you did this yourself!" said one.
It’s lovely to see that she’s getting such a positive reaction on social media - particularly as the best-selling author recently spoke out about being targeted by vicious online bullies.
“People have said, ‘You’re that fat you should just go and die,’” she said in a revealing interview with the Belfast Telegraph.
Scarlett, who used to be a ballrooom dancer, recently spoke about her health issues after being tested for diabetes. She was also told by health professionals that her BMI was dangerous and made a promise to herself to commit to a healthier lifestyle.
However, despite her attempts to improve her wellbeing, she admitted that it isn’t always easy to ignore the bullies who try and drag her down.
“There are odd ones, mostly men, who criticise me about my weight and size and say I’m ugly. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t hurt sometimes,” she said.
Scarlett is known for being talkative and outspoken on the show but she hasn’t always been so confident. She was involved in a car accident when she was younger which caused her teeth to go black, and she also suffers from Bell’s palsy.
This made her a victim of school bullies and in her teenage years she moved schools to get away from the nasty people around her.
But Scarlett is less worried about what she thinks, and is more distressed by how the vile comments affect her parents, Mark and Betty, who also appear on the show.
“My mum’s cried about stuff she’s read about me, so I end up putting on a brave face because I don’t want her to be upset,” she said.
We’re so glad that Scarlett has chosen to rise above the haters and is busy celebrating her own personal style; we think she’s amazing!
