Saturday Morning Kitchen viewers were left horrified after a chef on the programme appeared to make an unhygienic mistake.
Fans of the show were left open-mouthed when cook Nick Deverell-Smith handled the food without washing his hands first and also touched raw meat.
Nick prepared a delicious-looking lamb dish and presented it perfectly but viewers who were tweeting during the episode weren’t too impressed.
One person wrote: “This chef has yet to wash his hands after handling raw lamb!”
Another posted: “ Did that chef wash his hands after touching raw meat?”
One other viewer tweeted: “#SaturdayKitchen why didn’t the first chef change his knife as he went from raw meat to vegetables without washing his hands?”
This is not the first time a guest on the series has caused controversy - last week Lisa Allen was criticised for using the same spoon to eat from a shared dish.
One viewer exclaimed: “Get a fresh spoon you double dipper!”
