Katie Price has come under fire for promoting shoes that feature real fur.
The former glamour model posted a picture of some pink and black fluffy footwear on her Instagram page this week.
She captioned the image: “These are my favourite @thefashiondollz.”
Her followers were quick to criticise the Loose Women panellist who is seemingly an animal lover, owning a guinea pig, a number of horses and until recently a pet dog.
After seeing the post, one person commented: “No real animal lover would wear real fur!”
Another wrote: “Why do you keep promoting real fur?! Hoping that the sheep will follow your sick trend?”
Someone else remarked: “Shame your promotion the use of real fur.”
And another person responded: “That fur would look better on the animal it was ripped off. What purpose does it have on a flip flop?”
Former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Katie did not respond to the criticism on Instagram but some of her followers claimed she was deleting their negative comments.

One person wrote: “She’s deleting the anti fur comments now. Can’t take the truth aye @officialkatieprice you BULLY!!”
Another follower commented: “And I’ve been deleted again!!! @alysha_loveeee hahahahahaha OMG.”
This is not the first time Katie has drawn criticism on Instagram - she was slammed for letting her two youngest children drink from bottles rather than cups, she divided opinion after she gave fans a glimpse of her home life, she drew criticism for how she organised the contents of her fridge and she also received negative comments for letting daughter Bunny wear make-up.
