Samantha Fox entered the Celebrity Big Brotherhouse last night (28 July) for the eighteenth series of the show.
Before entering the house however, Sam opened up about why she’s ready to come back into the public eye.
Last year, the Touch Me (I Want Your Body) singer’s long-term partner Myra Stratton tragically passed away after a two-year battle with cancer.
And in an interview with The Sun, Sam revealed that Myra is the reason behind her entering the CBB house.
“Myra wanted me to do this,” she explained.
“We saw the producers two years ago when Myra got diagnosed. Before she died she told me she wanted me to do it.
“She said, ‘I think you’d be great — just go and do it’.”
Since Myra’s death, Sam has been able to find love once again and is “very happy” with mum-of-two Linda Birgitte Olsen.
She told the newspaper that they met a couple of months ago and it’s still “very new”.
But the couple seem very loved up as Sam admitted Linda wants her voted out of CBB first, because she’ll miss her if she’s gone for too long.

Although a former glamour model, the blonde beauty admitted that she doesn’t agree with getting naked or having sex on TV.
“Sex is a very private thing — I certainly wouldn’t have sex on TV,” Sam explained.
“With Page 3 it was a one-to-one with a photographer. It was private, I kept it classy.”
Sam is currently writing a tell-all book, but who knows what she will reveal whilst in the Celebrity Big Brother house…
