This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby rarely has a sick day - but Rylan had to step in today after she vomited on her cat, Teddy

Poor Holly Willoughby has had a bit of a rough week.

Not only was she the butt of our April Fool's joke where we fooled everyone that she'd quit This Morning The This Morning presenter was forced to call in sick to the show, throwing the team - including co-presenter and on-screen "husband" Phillip Schofield - into chaos.

Showbiz reporter Rylan Clark-Neal was called upon to replace Holly at the last minute as it was revealed she was accidentally sick on her CAT.

Yep, poor Teddy was unfortunately on the receiving end of Holly's shock illness in the wee hours this morning - the news of which will NOT be helping to quash those pregnancy rumours...

Phillip revealed the reason for Holly's absence on the show, and joked that he wasn't exactly happy with who her replacement was going to be: "Holly's not well today so I've be given the most unlikely partner. I can't wait for this.

"They said Rylan was coming in and I said I'd do it on my own."

Poor Rylan!

But Rylan, who has appeared as the show's showbiz reporter since 2015, seemed to love it.

The pair then turned ganged up on the cat, with Rylan saying: "The cat that is absolute trouble! He pees on her dresses and her children!"

Phil then chimed in: "I told her, get well soon. Cat had it coming!"

But the decision to draft Rylan in, who was ill himself and suffering from hayfever in bed when he got the call, did not sit well with Gino D'Acampo.

He said: "Why did you not ask me to do it? You knew that I was coming in this morning to cook!

"He's been here five minutes on This Morning and he's hosting the show. Thirteen years I've been here!"

But Phil was quick to put him back in his place, saying: "A - You haven't even got a mic on and b – when are you ever, ever here on time?"

Bless 'em. We quite liked Rylan and Phil as a duo!
