TV presenter Rochelle Humeshas thanked fans for their kindness after she revealed she had lost a loved one over the Christmas period and is “holding her little family close.”
The mum-of-three returned to social media over the New Year with an emotional post about “trying to find her feet” following a hard time.
Posting a pictures of herself and her family, including husband Marvin, on holiday, the former Saturdays singer wrote, “I wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year.. ✨🏝"
She continued, “Thank you for all of your messages, I know I’ve been quiet. Losing a loved one is never easy, so I’m trying to find my feet whilst holding my little family close and making some more memories.
“Although the world keeps turning and the sun comes up each day. Life has never been the same, since you were called away. You were such a special person, so gentle, good and kind and have left the sweetest memories and thoughts of you behind. I only wish there was a way, that I could see you one more time, to thank you for the joy you bought, into this life of mine.” 🕊
Many of Rochelle's followers resonated with her message, as they reflected on similar situations happening in their own lives.
One wrote, "I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in October, it's been the hardest 3 months of my life. I hope you find peace soon x"

Fans of Rochelle were elated when she returned to This Morning just before the Christmas break to host the show for three days alongside Vernon Kay.
Viewers were big fans of the pairing, with many admitting that they would love to see Rochelle and Vernon cover main hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield in 2022.
