Rebekah Vardy has taken to Instagram to blast cruel trolls who mocked her appearance and called her an ‘ugly hag’ during the World Cup.
Rebekah is currently in Russia supporting her husband, England footballer Jamie Vardy, along with the rest of team’s wives and girlfriends.
After appearing at matches, Rebekah and the rest of the WAGs were targeted by trolls on a Russian sports news website who branded them ‘The Hags’.
Another troll commented: "British women are as ugly as my life. If British women are coming here, our men need guards."
Rebekah was also criticised by trolls for “always being next to husband Jamie” and being “unemployed with two children from two different husbands.”
Not one to take it lying down, the Loose Women panellist hit back at the trolls in a feisty Instagram post of a message which read: “People talk about having an inner child. I don’t. I have an inner old lady who says inappropriate things, calls everyone a c*** and wants to be in bed by 8pm.”
She also wrote: “Seeing as I’m being called a HAG by the delightful trolls I thought I would adopt this approach,” alongside the middle finger emoji.

“Trolls are pathetic people who lead very boring, sad lives and have nothing better to do than try and drag others down. Usually they target people they’re jealous of and clearly you do not resemble a hag at all,” wrote another.
A third fan added: “Jealousy is a funny thing @beckyvardy don’t take any notice 🙈👍🏻👊🏻xx.”
Rebekah has been keeping fans updated on her time in Russia on social media, revealing that she partied with the wives and girlfriends of the England team into the early hours after England’s match against Belgium on Thursday.
