Heavily pregnant Sam Bailey, 37, has around six weeks to go until her due date, but the songstress sparked early labour rumours when she tweeted from her hospital bed yesterday.

She wrote: "Back in peeps!! Round two at the hospital!! Bluurrrrr"

As her fans panicked that her baby was premature, Sam – who has two other children – quickly reassured everyone there was nothing to worry about.

She wrote: "Hi guys just to let u know I'm fine aNd just being kept in for observation! I'm ok and baby is doing fine too x"

And, this morning, Sam Bailey made sure to clear up labour rumours once and for all, writing: "Just to let you know, I'm ok, slept well, baby still cooking!"

It must come as a relief to Sam, who suffered a terrifying baby scare in June when she began bleeding unexpectedly.

After she was given the all-clear, she revealed: "I was genuinely so frightened."

Which is why we imagine Sam appreciated it when her two eldest children popped by to cheer their mum up.

Sam proudly wrote: "Look who's come to visit me xx :-) #beautifulbabies"
