Last week Katie, 38, slammed 36-year-old Sam following her announcement that she was expecting her third child.

Katie said that it was totally the wrong time for Sam to have a baby, with her career having just started. She also predicted that Sam would be ‘the size of a tour bus.’

In an interview with a UK magazine this week Sam hit back, saying: “With Katie I just say bored, bored, bored, bored, generally bored of everything that woman says to be honest.

“At the end of the say she wants to make a living out of putting people down, she’ll be a very guilty woman when she goes to her death bed.”

Meanwhile, Sam also responded to comments made by Simon Cowell this week, which seemingly doubted her career.

X Factor boss Simon, 54, said: “We will wait and see. She will have a very successful debut album. (Is she) going to be as good as the final year we did? No.

“That was a very special year. I would love to find another Olly Murs or something similar to Olly.”

Simon hinted this week that Sam's career may not be as successful as Olly Murs'

Sam, unsurprisingly, was not too happy with Si’s comments, hitting back: “To be honest, X Factor has made so many joke acts and not people who had potential, people that have had potential who have maybe been a bit fatter or older or not looked right.”

Even though Simon didn’t mention looks, Sam seemed to take his comments as an insult to her own.

She said: “They need to start looking at those people because then you get someone like me. I think they need to look a little bit further and it needs to be less shallow and they might be alright.”
