Phillip Schofield has confirmed he’s writing a tell-all autobiography as he shares a photo of the cover for the first time.
Following rumours of a book back in June, This Morning host Phil revealed he used the extra time in lockdown to complete the memoir, which will go on sale mid-October.
Sharing a video to his Instagram account, Phillip said, "After being asked many times, and after many years of wanting to, I have written my autobiography.
"I wrote the first line of the book, in my head, when I was about 14. It took me until 2017 for me to finally write the first chapter and then I stopped because the time wasn’t right."

"It has certainly been something of a work in progress. Over the years I have been making notes of the stories and events of my life that I thought would tell my story.
"Finally, in lockdown, I knew that all the pieces of the jigsaw had been put into place and I was ready to write - that and a new discovery... lots of free time. It has been a fascinating experience, both immense fun and deeply emotional."

The book comes eight months after the dad-of-two came out as gayin an emotional statement read out by his friend and colleague Holly Willoughby.
“Every day on This Morning, I sit in awe of those we meet who have been brave and open in confronting their truth – so now it’s my turn to share mine,” it said.
“This will probably all come as something of a surprise and I understand, but only by facing this, and by being honest, can I hope to find peace in my mind and a way forward.”
