Peter Andre's son Junior won’t be following in his father’s footsteps and pursuing a pop career.

The Mysterious Girl singer says the 11-year-old doesn’t want to sing like his dad and has a totally different career in mind for his future.

The little chap wants to be an actor and Pete is happy to help him along his way when he’s a bit older.

“I enrolled him in acting school at the private school he goes to and he just got a distinction,” he told Bang Showbiz.

“He got an A with distinction. He’s a great little actor.”

However, Junior won’t be going off to stage school any time soon as Pete is keen for him to stay in school and concentrate on his academic studies.

He said: “He knows he has to do his school work at the moment but when he’s 16, 17, 18 if that’s what he wants to do then great.”

Junior certainly doesn’t shy away from an audience after breaking into song on Loose Women recently when he appeared alongside his panellist mother Katie Price.

But Peter didn’t catch his song’s performance as he hasn’t watched his children on the show.

He said: “I haven’t watched Junior or Princess on Loose Women yet.

“People have said to be they were great on there.”
