Peter Andre appeared on Loose Women today and gave a predictable response when quizzed about having more kids.

His wife Emily may be expecting their second child but that hasn’t stopped the 43-year-old singer from thinking about the joys of conception.

He said: "Of course we are going to think about the practising when you talk about having another baby."

When Nadia asked if sex was really the first thing men think about, Pete responded: "Of course.

"If she [Emily] comes up to me and says we should we try for another baby, I’m like yes!

"You think of the baby later."

Elaborating on the importance of sex to any good marriage, Pete added:

"Sex is a sign of love. It’s the one thing you do with each other that you don’t do with anyone else."

Quite.

Peter and Emily have daughter Amelia, who was born on 7 January 2014, but have yet to reveal the gender of their unborn child.

However, speaking exclusively to Closer, Pete said: “I don’t know [if he'd want another girl] because Amelia is great.

"If we have another girl that would be three girls in the house and I’d be finished."

Careful not to let his famed physique slip in fatherhood, he told us:

"I’ve still got the six-pack. And I want to keep it forever.

"If Arnold Schwarzenegger can do it then so can I."

"Once a year I go hard. I don’t believe in diets – the first three letters are die! But once a year I’ve got to do something to kick start me and then I’ll train and then I’ll shrink.

"I don’t want to be on a three to four-month diet, I want to eat what I want."

As for wife Emily who is 16 years his junior, Pete said "she looks perfect and it’s impossible to improve upon perfection."

Aww, how romantic!
