Apparently, Peter Andre has been ex wife Katie Price’s unlikely shoulder to cry on following her mum’s terminal diagnosis, and her split from Kieran Hayler.
The Loose Women panellist revealed last week that her mum Amy was suffering from a terminal lung disease, and only had three years to live – but apparently her ex husband Peter Andre has been “her rock”.
A source told The Sun: “Katie and Pete have had their ups and downs over the years after getting divorced but he has really pulled through for her during this difficult time.
“He’s been incredibly supportive and understanding about what she is going through.”

They continued: “Pete's main priority is his kids and he has always wanted what is best for them - he knows that being there for Katie will help everyone in the long run.”
Peter and Katie were married for five years, and have two children together: Junior (12) and Princess (10).
The news he’s been a support to Katie will be surprising to many, seeing as he allegedly “begged” her to keep quiet about her split from Kieran Hayler, and his affair with nanny Nikki Brown, for the sake of their children.
A source told Closer: “Pete’s begged Katie to stop with the public slanging matches. He wants her to sort this mess out with Kieran behind closed doors.
“However, she fears if she stops washing her dirty laundry in public, her career will be dead and buried.
“Pete worries about how Harvey would feel if Kieran wasn’t around, and fears how Princess and Junior would cope with the upheaval. He knows how close they are to Kieran.”
Katie has been very outspoken about her marriage breakdown, speaking on Loose Women about Kieran's behaviour, and claiming that Nikki smelt of "body odour and cigarettes."
