Aww what Peter Andre just said about Harvey Price is adorable
Back when Katie Price and Peter Andre were happily married, it seemed that Pete and his stepson Harvey Price had an unbreakable bond. There was even talks of the Australian singer adopting Katie's son (who she had with Dwight Yorke).
Since the I'm A Celeb couple split, it appeared that Peter and Harvey's relationship suffered. Peter previously implied that he had cut ties with his former step-child. Although, he later wrote on his New! magazine column: "There have been a few times recently where he's been to my house and I've been to his.
"Harvey will always be special to me and I just want him to be happy. He's a great kid!"
Now, the Mysterious Girl singer has admitted that his relationship with Harvey has helped him with fatherhood. In an interview with KIIS FM, he admitted: "The first child that taught me how to be a dad was Harvey."
Aww.
The 44-year-old dad recently wished Harvey a happy birthday on social media. On Twitter, he wrote: "Happy birthday to a very special boy. Hope you like your prezzies."
Although he didn't confirm the message was to Harvey, he did post it on the 15-year-olds birthday and lots of fans assumed it was.
It looks like things have taken a huge U-turn since Katie confessed that her ex-husband doesn’t see her son anymore. Last year she was very open about Harvey's relationship with his biological dad and step dad: "We have gone on a journey, me and Harvey, and all I know is that no one will ever take him away from me.
"When you divorce you have to share the kids. But with Harvey there's no one.
"Well, look, Dwight don't want to know. Someone else doesn't see him anymore. He's just got me, you know?"
Katie's husband Kieran Hayler has since revealed he wants to adopt Harvey himself.
It's great to see that Peter and Harvey are on great terms.
The dad-of-four also admitted to KIIS FM that he's a strict dad especially when it comes to Junior, he told the radio station: "[Junior's] a very polite boy, I’m a bit too strict on him unfortunately.
"But I think that being strict on them will pay off in the long run.
"mean, they roll their eyes at me all the time, telling them to have manners and to be respectful to people and all those sort of things."
He added that doesn't regret being strict because his father was "super strict" too.
