Singer Pete, 40, and medical student Emily, 24, recently welcomed their daughter Amelia and now he’s opened up about what meeting his fiancée.
In an interview with a UK magazine, Pete said: “I was looking in the wrong places and I never found the right girl. I always wanted to get married and have a family again but I got to a point where I thought it was never going to happen.
“It’s ironic because there was a stage when I knew Emily but I didn’t realise how perfect she was for me. She was under my nose all that time. She’s the most special woman in the world.”
Meanwhile, doting dad and husband-to-be Pete has recently been promoting his new coffee range. It will be sold exclusively through Tesco stores and proceeds every sale goes to the Peter Andre Foundation, which is in support of Cancer Research UK.
Pete set up the foundation last year after his brother Andrew died from kidney cancer in 2012.
Speaking about the coffee range, he said: “I’ve launched my own New York Coffee Club range in Tesco – 50p from every bag sold goes to the Peter Andre Foundation which supports Cancer Research UK to help people beat this terrible disease.”
