Paul Knightley teases marriage proposal to Sam Faiers

Property developer Paul Knightley has hinted that marriage could be on the cards for him and Sam Faiers in new clip from The Mummy Diaries.

The 30 year old teased co-star Greg Shepherd that he'd get girlfriend Sam "a ring for her birthday.

"Nah, I'll save that for when she's... maybe next year or the year after. Get her into her 30s."

The dad of two went on to tell the camera, "100 per cent feel like during lockdown me and Sam have got... I didn't think we could be any closer.

"We took the most out of it we could. And yeah we're probably that one step closer to getting married."

As of this month, Paul and Sam will have been dating for six years. The couple met at celeb watering hole Sheesh restaurant back in October 2014 and fell pregnant with son Paul just five months after.

Now, with second child Rosie, too, there's been a lot of speculation that Paul and Sam will be following sister Billie Faiers down the aisle.

This isn't the first time the father-of-two has teased marriage for the couple. Paul recently told OK!, "Nobody is going to know about the proposal except me. I’ll be the only one who knows when and where it’s happening."

Sigh.

Guess we'll just have to keep our eyes and ears open, folks.

Speaking with the publication, Sam added, "When Billie was getting married there was a lot of focus on us being next and too much pressure.

"It’s calmed down a bit, so I’m thinking hopefully there will be a surprise soon."

We're hoping so and with Paul admitting that the couple are "one step closer to getting married," we're on the edge of our seats.
