Earlier this year Paris Jackson had to defend her father against child sex photo allegations and now the 18-year-old has opened up about her suicide attempt.

In a now deleted Instagram video she emotionally opened up saying: “I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world right now.

“I’ve tried sticking up for myself. I’ve tried the whole ‘blocking the haters’ thing, not reading the comments.

“I’ve tried a lot of things; ignoring it. But it’s hard, it is when there’s so much of it.”

In her Instagram video she then opened up about her attempted suicide. In 2013 according to TMZ Paris was hospitalized after she cut her forearm with a meat cleaver. The publication also reported that she left a suicide note.

Speaking about the incident, she said: “When I was 14, I got so much hatred that I tried to kill myself and I took, like, a two year break from social media, and then people asked me to come back, to make my Instagram public again, so I did.

“And nothing changed! I’m just tired of it. I’m just really, really tired. And, I mean, I know I’m not the only one.”

“I mean we’re human beings man, we got hearts and brains and feelings. When you say damaging things like that to people it f--ks them up. It really f--ks people up when you do that”

She then ended the video, saying: “It’s exhausting, really and truly it’s exhausting. Sorry for the rant, it’s some stuff that I’ve been holding in for a long time… years.”

Paris also referred to Justin Bieber who recently deleted his Instagram account after his girlfriend received a lot of hate.

On Twitter she wrote: “I don’t blame Justin for deleting his Instagram account. The type of harassment I see on my account daily is enough to make someone suicidal.”

However, after a fan tweeted their concern she reassured her 1.25 million Twitter followers by saying: “Oh don’t worry I didn’t mean anything by that.

"I’m a strong person I can handle it, it’s just hard to see how much hate there is.”
