The 36-year-old star spoke of how losing her love Lewis Hamilton fuelled a collection of heartbreak hits on the new album, which is out Monday.

And after rekindling her romance with the F1 ace, Nicole says she no longer puts pressure on the relationship.

'I don't put any pressure on anything. For me, timing is everything. I have a strong faith. And if you ask if my mom's putting pressure on us to get married, no - because my mom is feeling as strong as me,' said the singer.

Nicole admitted she wrote the majority of the album last year when she was breaking up with Lewis, so it was inspired by all the usual feelings of loss, anger and pain.

But now her and her sportsman boyfriend are back together, Nicole says she is more than happy to cheer him on, saying confidently: 'He's gonna win this year! I can feel it!'

It seems all in all that the split made her stronger, with the star saying: 'I feel more confident as a woman now and being able to talk about the s*** that I haven't talked about before.'
