Nicola Roberts leaks Cheryl’s new music on Instagram

Nicola Roberts has accidentally leaked Cheryl's brand new music in an Insta-story from the recording studio.

While Nicola has been teasing her time in the studio with her former bandmate over the past few weeks, Friday night was the first time fans were actually treated to some music.

While she chilled with song writer Jon Shave, the new tune could be heard playing in the background as they talked.

The former Girls Aloud star didn't mention it was Chezza, but fans were still quick to notice her distinctive voice and get excited.

Cheryl, who has one-year-old son with Liam Payne, is set to release her comeback album later this year, with fans waiting patiently to get their hands on it.

So it's not surprising that they were BEYOND excited to hear a sneak preview.

One fan took to Twitter to write, "I'm so excited I could scream," while another added, "Hearing this has made my day so much better new Cheryl music is coming!!!"

The X Factor judge has been busy with motherhood since giving birth to baby Bear last year.

However recent rumours suggest there's trouble in paradise as Cheryl and Liam embarked on a 'make or break holiday' to the Maldives.

The singer chose to deny the relationship woes on Twitter, writing, "off on our holiday. And the only thing we're making is memories. And breaking is our healthy eating."
