Speaking about their spat, 33-year-old Nicola reveals it was while she was on I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, Katie allegedly said some unkind things in the press about her.
Speaking exclusively to Closer Online, Nicola said: “I always loved Kate. But when I went into the jungle, she just absolutely hated me. I don’t know why because we were always cool before that.
“It was like she took [me being in the jungle] personal. We’ve argued over the years, but I’ve given as good as I’ve got and she’s given as good as she’s got.
“But actually we’re in a place now where we both follow each other on Twitter, and I think we could be friends.”
And Nicola admits that, during interviews, both she and Katie have a tendency to exaggerate a bit.
She said: “Both me and Kate are too mouthy for our own good. We’re both show offs that, when we’re being interviewed, we feel the need to say something outrageous to get a headline. We’ve both said things we haven’t meant.”
Nicola also previously took part in Celebrity Big Brother and she admitted she wouldn't mind trying Strictly next.

She said: “I am the worst dancer in the world, and I can’t stand pressure.
“So I think if I went on Strictly Come Dancing I would need to be on heavy duty prescription drugs! But being totally honest, you can’t really turn any show down when you’re in my position.”
And it looks like Nicola has well and truly put the feud with Katie behind her.
When asked who her dream celebrity dance partner would be, Nicola confessed she’d love to do it with 36-year-old Katie.
“I would dance with Kate because I absolutely love her boobs,” she said. But the newly single mum-of-two wouldn’t say no to some male dancing companionship.

She added: “Or David Beckham because he’s hot.” We don’t disagree!
One thing Nicola seemed very passionate about was her time in the jungle, and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here in general.
“I’d 100 per cent go back in the jungle,” she said. “I’d love to be in there with Katie Price!”
Obviously Nicola has been glued to this year’s show and Melanie Sykes might be favourite to win, but Nicola doesn’t think so. “Not after that story about her beating her husband,” she said. “She’s good, but she and Jake will be in the final.”
While she thinks Jake will make the final, Nicola agrees with many that he’s technically not a celebrity.
She said: “He’s not – but I wasn’t a celebrity when I went in there and I was the best so, you know!”
