The model turned 33 this week and, following her recent marriage problems, really let her down at the TOWIE hot spot.
Looking stunning in a little black dress and matching leopard print clutch and heels, the birthday girl was treated to a surprise in the form of two of The Dreamboys delivering her personalised cake.
Celebrities in attendance at the Closer Online columnist's bash included Maria Fowler and Kirk Norcross.
Maria shared a snap of the three of them at the party, writing: "Long serving friends are the best."
Earlier in the evening, TOWIE star Maria posted a picture of her and Nicola with the caption: "My girls bday. Love her [sic]."
Also there to help Nicola celebrate was Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace. She'd spent the day getting ready to party with Nicola, uploading a picture of herself in a salon.
She wrote: "Getting my hair did in Brentwood as you do getting prettied up for miss @NicolaMcLean burrrtday partayyyy [sic]"
We're glad to see Nicola celebrating her birthday with close friends, after a tough week with her estranged husband Tom Williams.
Their bitter split took a turn for the worse when Tom took to Twitter to accuse Nicola of some hurtful things, which she has addressed in her column this week.
