After enduring a burdensome few months dealing with family losses former TOWIE star Mark Wright has commended wife Michelle Keegan as his "rock" getting him through these tough times.

The 34-year-old TV star was left "devastated" after losing his uncle Eddie Wright to Covid in March and just last month, Mark's cousin Elliot Wright's restaurant Olivia’s La Cala, residing in Marbella, burned down following a suspected arson attack.

Following the tragic family news, a source has said that Michelle has been a fantastic support system for hubby Mark.

"The family have experienced one thing after the other. It’s like they’ve had the worst luck. Mark especially has found it really tough.

"Michelle has been an amazing strength for Mark. He’s called her his rock and said he doesn’t know what he’d do without her," they told new! magazine.

The insider went on to add, "Michelle has been thinking about taking a pause on her work just to have more time to support Mark.

"It’s been such a tough time for everyone and she wants to be there for him as much as she can be."

Just last week, Mark took to his Instagram Story and urged his cousin Elliott to stay strong as he uploaded a snap of him looking emotional on the scene of the blaze.

"You will come back stronger boy. Love you @ElliottWright_," Mark wrote.

The source added, "Both Michelle and Sadie are really stepping up for Mark and Elliott. They’re really rallying around them.

"It’s hard because Elliott is away [living in the Costa del Sol] so the family feel torn apart. It’s a horrible situation, which made them all realise how important family is."
