Lauren Goodger may have split with Mark Wright two years ago but she is still failing to escape his shadow. In this week’s issue of Closer insiders reveal the reality star-turned-TV-presenter’s fiancée Michelle Keegan messaged Lauren telling her to “back off.”

Lauren raised eyebrows last week when she posted a quote on her Instagram - thought to be a thinly veiled dig at Coronation Street actress, Michelle – saying: "I'll be the girl you'll be thinking of 20 years from now while you engage in polite sex with your boring wife." Sources say Michelle was quick to respond to Lauren – who split from Mark in August 2011 after a 10-year on-off romance.

A pal says: “Michelle got hold of Lauren's number and messaged her to say ‘back off’ and leave them be. Lauren insisted it was nothing to do with her and Mark and told Michelle not to be so self involved.”
But it’s not the first fall out between Michelle and Lauren, in May Lauren shared a screengrab of a Tweet mentioning Mark from SMS information service Bongo.
Mark responded by Tweeting: “It's been well over two years and it still continues. I find it so disrespectful to myself but more importantly, my fiancée. Be a proper woman. Please leave me out of your public conversations, stop embarrassing yourself. Start having some respect and MOVE ON @laurengoodger."

Lauren simply responded by writing: "Sorry you need to take it up with Bongo it's an automated Tweet. #movedonalongtimeago."
But as Closer previously reported, behind Mark's outburst was actually Michelle. An onlooker overheard the actress dictate the Tweets to Mark over the phone while on a train from London to Manchester.
