Insiders recently told Closer how Michelle Keegan had become more open to the idea of starting a family with Mark Wright
And last week, Mark’s father, Mark Wright Snr, appeared to convince fans the actress was expecting the couple’s first child with a cryptic Instagram post - which was quickly deleted – uploading a snap of his daughter-in-law at his youngest son Josh’s recent wedding in Mallorca with the hashtag, ‘youknowweknow’.
Michelle, 31, responded to the post with a love heart emoji, while one fan wrote, ‘110% having a baby’. Another added, “First grandchild!"
A source says, “Michelle and Mark are in the best place they’ve been in in a long time, they've become much closer since spending quality time together over the last few months.
“Being with all the family together in Mallorca for Josh’s wedding reminded her of what’s important and while Michelle’s a career girl, she’s excited by the idea of starting a big family of her own with Mark. It's something they’ve spoken about since they first started dating.”
The couple, who celebrated their third wedding anniversary in May, have endured a long-distance relationship since Mark, 31, moved to L.A to host Extra TV last September, while Michelle filmed BBC drama Our Girl for eight months in South Africa, Malaysia and Kuala Lumpar.
She initially insisted that joining Mark wasn’t on the cards, saying recently, “It’s just not me. I’m not an L.A woman.” However, it seemed she'd had a change of mind last month, when she said, “never say never” to a possible move.
And insiders say Michelle – who has revealed she now has a US-based agent – is growing more excited by the prospect of life in L.A.
