We'd have thought that Strictly Come Dancing would be a bit of a sore topic for Melvin Odoom at the moment.
It must have been a bit gutting for him to be the first to leave the dancefloor – he spoke exclusively to Closer before the competition started, [saying he "literally couldn't wait"]((https://closeronline.co.uk/entertainment/soaps/melvin-odoom-strictly-come-dancing-exclusive) to get started.
However, we spotted him at the KISS FM Haunted House Party last Thursday, wearing a bloodied version of one of his costumes from the show – with a replica of the actual glitterball seemingly coming out of his head.
The radio presenter had been made up to look as though the sparkling sphere had caved his head in.
He said: "I'm paying homage to Strictly tonight with this little glitterball number. I actually can't do any dancing in this 'cos like my head has to stay straight. I don't want to lose it.
"It's not that heavy. It's made out of polystyrene and then our friend put little mirrors around the ball and then we've stuck it on like a little skull cap and it's on my head with glue.
"I love Strictly. I'm paying homage to the show, Halloween-style."
Well, he doesn't seem to have any lingering sadness to us about leaving the show.
Melvin posted a photo of his Halloween get-up on Instagram, crediting two artists with creating the gory masterpiece:
We then grilled him about his fellow contenders to see who he thinks could take the Strictly 2016 crown:
"I still think Danny Mac's looking very good. Or Ore – his jive was unbelievable."
Do you agree with Melvin's predictions for the Strictly 2016 crown? Let us know via Twitter at @CloserOnline.
