Following comments from Edwina Currie in the jungle, Mel Sykes revealed she is “self-sufficient” and "doesn’t need a man for anything but sex".
Mel, 44, hit out at the politician, snapping: "I don't need a man for anything but sex. I'm self-sufficient me, I've been that for 12 years. "I've got all my mates, my family and I don't need a man.

It would be nice if he was there, but I don't need them there."

“Well actually men are people and we all need people.”
Things calmed down when Kendra Wilkinson, 29, got involved, which slightly mellowed Mel.
The presenter-turned-underwear-model then changed her tune and revealed: "I'm envious that she has the love of her life.”
