Former Strictly Come Dancing contestants Maisie Smith and Max George are reportedly dating each other in a shock secret romance that we absolutely did NOT see coming.
Generally, we like to think of ourselves of lovers of love here at Closer, but there's only so much lovey dovey-ness we can stomach. The content coming from these two is a LOT and frankly, it's giving us mushy college relationship vibes, which nobody wants to recall. Single and bitter, us? Never.
Do we want to say ick? Not really, but fair warning, the PDA game is strong on both their socials. We weren't ready, so heed our advice.

Maisie took to TikTok recently to share a montage video of her relationship with Max, captioning it "Happiness 🖤 @maximilliangee."

Maisie and Max both competed on series 18 of Strictly back in 2020, which was eventually won by comedian Bill Bailey. At the time Max was in a relationship with Stacey Giggs while Maisie was linked to co-star HRVY.
But, after Max and Stacey split for the second time, it’s claimed he and Maisie are “very loved-up” as pictures of them looking very cosy on a flight to Crete emerged online.
The pair can be seen sitting next to each other on a Jet2 flight to the Greek island in pictures obtained by The Sun, with fellow passengers telling the publication that they “were all over each other”.
They added, “They looked like a very loved-up couple — they were all over each other for the entire four-hour flight. Snogging and giggling like any new couple.
“They are definitely an item. My wife said it was a bit over the top at one stage. They were smooching, holding hands and kissing.”
Another source said, “This isn’t a flash in the pan. Max has told people that he is falling in love with Maisie.”
It was revealed last week that Max had split with his girlfriend Stacey after four years of dating. The pair went official in 2018 but briefly split in March of this year before reconciling a month later.
A source explained, “Max and Stacey are no longer together. They had a great relationship but as time passed, they realised it wasn’t to be.
“Stacey was a rock to Max when Tom [Parker] passed away and she supported him through it all. They are both being very adult about it and it was as amicable a split could be. Max and Stacey only wish the best for each other going forwards.”
