Lydia Bright has shared a “real, raw, unedited” photo of herself in her "Bridget Jones knickers" and opened up about the reality of being pregnant a week before she’s due to give birth.
The former TOWIE star is expecting a baby girl any time now and told fans that she was “nine months pregnant and absolutely exhausted” in the candid caption to her latest Instagram post.
Admitting that the snap is a change from her usual posts, Lydia began, “One week to go until due date. I often post only my best pictures on Instagram, my personal magazine. But today I am posting the real, raw, unedited deal.
“The past week, I have been constantly trying to dodge photographers. Understandably they want the money shot ‘me going into labour’.”
Lydia went on to explain that she was angry after finding out pictures of her “not looking her finest” were printed by a tabloid newspaper but later realised “that’s my reality and I shouldn’t feel upset about that.”
She continued, “No, I can’t wear bras anymore because they dig in, I wash my hair probably once a week (tonight my scalp got a treat,) and my nails haven’t seen a salon in well over a month. But all of this self care neglect is for a good reason.”
Lydia’s had a tough time recently, after her home was burgled, and admitted she’s found it hard but is determined to complete her home renovation in time for her little one’s arrival.
“So this is my reality, Bridget Jones knickers and all. I’m nine months pregnant and absolutely exhausted, the old glamorous Lydia will be back soon,” she continued.

Lydia’s nearest and dearest were full of support in the comments, with TOWIE’s Georgia Kousoulou writing, “This is my fav Lydia.”
Lydia’s mum Debbie added, “My little squidgy bum 😂 we will get there by the skin of our teeth we will get there. Family friends at their best. It’s a wonderful life.”

Lydia first announced she was pregnant last August – only a week before former co-star Lucy Mecklenburgh shared her own pregnancy news – shortly after splitting from the father of her child, Lee Cronin.
She said, "I've done so much travelling, I've done all my partying holidays, I'm where I want to be in terms of my life, financially and career-wise. It just feels like the right time for it all to happen for me.
“It's not the ideal situation. I waited quite a long time to try for a baby, waited until I thought it was perfect. I've always wanted the fairytale and it's obviously not worked out exactly how I wanted.”
