Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford endured an awkward moment on Loose Women as it was revealed Eamonn LIES about where he's going to his wife

We don't know about you, but we're still reeling from the shock of yesterday's explosive episode of Loose Women.

In a special edition which was 15 minutes longer than usual, the presenters were joined by the other halves to get down and dirty about what REALLY goes on behind closed doors.

And whilst Katie Price and Kieran Hayler's section on Kieran's infidelity was most certainly the highlight of the show, there's another awkward moment on the show which is playing over in our minds...

That lie detector test between Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford was just TOO awkward to ignore.

So Eamonn was asked loads of questions like: "Have you ever gone through Ruth's phone?" to which he said no and was found to be telling the truth.

But he was THEN asked: "Have you ever lied to Ruth about where you've been?"

Before the answers were even read out, his face looked guilty as HELL.

Ruth said: "I can tell when he's lying - he's lying."

Katie read out that he'd said no and WAS in fact lying!!

Eamonn, you dirty dog!

The TV presenter shook his head whilst raucous laughter erupted around the studio, and whilst Ruth dealt with it very well, she did look a little hurt.

As would we all!

She turned on him, saying: "Where have you been and not told me?!"

To be fair to him, he did have a pretty stand-up reason: "Look, the only time I lied to you about that was when you ask me whether I've taken the dog for a walk and I say yes, that's the only time I lied to you!"

If that IS the truth, we'd say that's fair enough.

Well, it's miles better than what it could have been!!
