Their divorce was finalised in January, following a public and often acrimonious break-up.

But despite the feud between exes Ant McPartlin and Lisa Armstrong since he announced their split in early 2018 – with Lisa openly venting her frustration and heartbreak on her Twitter feed – the make-up artist seems to have offered an olive branch by liking a tweet by Ant’s best pal and co-presenter Dec Donnelly from his and Ant’s joint account.

After the return of their popular show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Dec wrote, “Thanks for all the lovely messages, we’re so happy you enjoyed... It’s great to be back!”

Lisa’s apparent show of support by liking the tweet is in stark contrast to her previous social media posts about Ant, 44, and his girlfriend Anne-Marie Corbett, 43, who was previously Ant and Lisa’s personal assistant.

After Ant confirmed his relationship with the mum of two in June 2018 – five months after the breakdown of his marriage – Lisa, 43, posted heartbreak emojis, before tweeting one fan, “To think she was MY friend!”

She’s since made her feelings clear about Ant’s conduct in the aftermath of the split by liking tweets from fans, including one that described his behaviour as “sh---y” and “spineless”.

Ant initially thanked Lisa for her help during his secret addiction to painkillers, after a botched knee operation. However, in January 2018, he ended their 12-year marriage.

Two months later, Ant was pictured out with Anne-Marie. By the summer, he called her his “rock”, after her support during his drink-driving conviction and second rehab stint.

Lisa was then reportedly axed as the make-up artist on Britain’s Got Talent – which Ant and Dec co-host – with sources claiming her position working alongside her ex was “untenable”. Lisa then went on to like tweets saying it was “unjust and unfair” and “took the p***”.

Last summer, the pair were reportedly at loggerheads after Lisa allegedly refused him entry to their marital home, after he arrived to pick up belongings.

But in a dramatic U-turn, sources recently told Closer that Lisa is now keen to put animosity behind them so she can move on.

Last week, she kept a dignified silence after Ant called Anne-Marie his “greatest love” during an interview. She was also said to have been the “peacemaker” during the divorce settlement, which reportedly saw her receive half of Ant’s £62 million fortune and shared custody of their labrador Hurley.

She is also apparently looking to sell the former couple’s £5 million marital home, in a bid for a fresh start. With Dec and his wife Ali Astall – who works with Anne-Marie – living nearby, sources reveal the move will mark the beginning of a “new life” for Lisa, with “no reminder of Ant and Anne-Marie”.

Meanwhile, she has thrown herself into a thriving career, which has seen her launch a lipstick range with Avon, scoop the prize for Best Make-Up Design at the Royal Television Society Awards for her work on Strictly Come Dancing, as well as being approached to work in LA.

And despite refusing to sign the non-disclosure agreement that Ant had reportedly requested in the settlement, Lisa has refrained from badmouthing him – instead encouraging her Twitter followers to “be kind”.
