Lauren Harries has gushed about her happiness alongside her boyfriend Connor Yemm, who is 19 years her junior, during an appearance on Loose Women.
The former Celebrity Big Brother housemate, 40, who was born male, joined the panel on the ITV show to talk about her life.
The television personality spoke about the troubles she faces as a transgendered person, saying: “It’s getting better but there is still a lot of transphobia around.”
But Lauren insists “adversity makes you stronger” and spoke of her happiness at recently finding love with 21-year-old Connor.

Speaking about her fresh-faced man, Lauren said: “He sees me as a woman and is accepting of that. That’s the reason why we click.”
But it hasn’t been plain sailing for the couple as people have not always reacted favourably to their relationship.
Connor said: “We’ve had a lot of negative comments but we live in our bubble and block the negativity out.”
Lauren, who has previously spoken of her “magnetic” make-out sessions with Connor, began dating Connor earlier this year.
The pair met after he followed her on Twitter and Lauren instantly gave him her phone number after he confirmed he was straight.
And Lauren insists the age difference is not a problem as she’s recently had more plastic surgery and has been looking after her health which has resulted in her feeling younger.
Lauren, who rose to fame as an antiques child prodigy, has fallen for Connor so hard that she cries when he’s away, although the couple are planning a trip together soon.
Connor said: “We want to go on holiday, maybe the Maldives or Lauren wants to go to Amsterdam.”
Lauren concluded: “Whatever makes you happy, go for it.”
