Lauren Goodger has come under fire following her latest tweet
Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has been slammed by fans after she suggested that spending £100 three day's of food is a normal amount.
It all kicked off after the 31-year-old star took to Twitter to reveal how much she dislikes processed food, she wrote: "OMG when you eat processed food I actually feel like I’m on some sort of chemical it’s horrible ! I feel sick ! Can’t wait to juice tomorrow! Need the goodness back in my body @juicemaster🥒🥦🥕🍅🍐🍎🍏🍊🍋 "

However, after one of her followers pointed out that it costs £100 for three days of juices, she was quick to defend the programme and said: "Well think the price of 3 days of food and if you want to be clean it’s always more .. money is health xxx"
It's safe to say that her statement didn't go down well with her fans, with one person arguing: "If I were spending £100 for 3 days food I would explode!! I have a family and don't spend that!"
Another commented: "Why not go to Aldi, spend £20 on fruit and veg and make your own juice."
Someone else said: "I've seen some daft things on here but this tweet takes the biscuit. Honestly Lauren, when did you totally lose grip on reality??"
A fourth argued: "I could make 3 days of juice and smoothies for under a fiver.... and no, money isn't health. There's a line between health and sham for people with more money than sense."
One more joked: "😂😂 Health is wealth is the correct terminology 📚"
Following the backlash the reality star then clarified what she originally meant in her tweet. She explained: "If you buy salads and fish and Veg and healthy food is generally more expensive (sadly).. it’s depends how much you invest into your diet and wellbeing .. you also can make juices at home or mix salad and soups with juice .. it’s not for everyone but it’s for me 💕 "
She added: "Jeez what I meant was health IS wealth..as in your health is the most important thing you have.Dont have to be wealthy to be healthy.Get it? Good night 💕 "
This isn't the first time Lauren has caused a stir on social media; she previously hit out at working mums in an angry tweet, fans then branded her a hypocrite after she threw shade at reality TV and more recently, she was accused of photoshopping a snap on Instagram.
