Former TOWIE star Lauren Goodger has shared her controversial view on working parents and it hasn't gone down well
Lauren Goodger has hit out at working parents on social media and it hasn't gone down well with her Twitter followers.
You may have seen the shocking video of a child minder pinching and hitting an eight-month-old little boy after she was secretly recorded by the child's family.
The parents of the little one were concerned after they noticed their son would cry as soon as the nanny arrived to look after him. After taking the footage to the police, the nanny has been investigated and could face up to 10 years in prison for child cruelty.
One person who was disgusted by the clip was former TOWIE star Lauren, however she's upset a few working parents after she slammed parents for leaving their children with nannies.

On Twitter, discussing the video, she wrote: "This lady needs more than a sentence I feel so uncomfortable watching that I could cry... put me in a room with this women she needs this treatment done to her I feel f--king ragging! [sic]
"This is why parents should NOT go to work and leave with a Nanny! I don’t care what people say."
Lauren has made it clear in the past that she wants to have children, she even exclusively told Closer Magazine that she plans to have a baby in 2018. She explained: "I'm putting my foot down!
"I've wanted a baby for so long and 2018 is the year it's finally happening. Ideally, I would like to be in a relationship, even though I feel like I'm a strong, independent woman who could go it alone.
"But being a single mum is really tough."
However, her comment about parents not hiring nannies hasn't gone down well with working mums, one person replied to her tweet and said: "Brilliant. Working parent bashing. Just what every working Mum needs after missing her child for 37 hours a week and beating herself up about leaving her child for every single one of those hours. Very thoughtful of you."
Someone else commented: "Whilst I agree that this is disgraceful behaviour from the nanny, please do not slate mothers that have to go to work. It’s hard enough believe me xx"
Another fumed: "Very judgmental in a situation you know NOTHING about! A parent who has to work feels guilty every second they are away from their child"
A fourth wrote: "As a nanny myself, that statement is so degrading. 99.9% of people who work with children do it for the love of the job and the satisfaction of watching these kids grow healthy and happy. Don't paint a large group of people with one brush."
One more added: "What a daft thing to say. I’m sure lots of parents would love to stay at home but this is just not financially possible! For someone who gets so upset with body shamers maybe you should think twice before you make comments about what parents need to do to feed their children."

Although a few of her followers did defend the 30-year-old star, with one person writing: "Yes, there’s no way I would leave my baby or even older children with a nanny, I don’t give a shit what certificates they have, you can’t trust no one these days"
Another said: "This is the reason why stayed at home to raise my children! Absolutely heartbreaking to view"
Someone else added: "I have 4 children who I stayed at home to bring up, I would never leave them with a nanny ever definitely not in this day"
