Lauren Goodger has sparked speculation she’s engaged after she was spotted wearing a sparkling ring on THAT finger.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren showed off her jewellery in an Instagram story, prompting some to wonder if she’s set to tie the knot with jailed boyfriend Joey Morrison.
The blow bar owner was keen to show the couple is stronger than ever, writing on the social media site: “Happy first year anniversary to us #love #oneyear #strong #sunday #hisandher #summer2017.”
However, it was only days ago it appeared Lauren and Joey’s relationship may have been on the rocks after they reportedly had a huge row.
Lauren was recently turned away from Essex restaurant Sheesh where she claims she was blocked from dining because her former fiancé Mark Wright was also planning to dine, so she may have been looking to Joey for support.
A source told The Sun: “Lauren and Joey had a furious argument and they came close to breaking up. They aren’t in a good place right now.
“The timing was bad given everything that happened with Mark last week. Lauren is madly in love with Joey but their circumstances make it incredibly frustrating.
“What would have been a normal argument for another couple turned into a blazing row. It wasn’t pretty and she made it clear how unhappy she was about what was going on between them.”
Joey is in jail after being charged with possession of a firearm, kidnapping, blackmail, actual bodily harm and aggravated burglary and Lauren’s friends have previously spoken out to say they don’t think the romance will last, but Lauren is determined to make it work.
The insider added: “Lauren has been waiting for Joey and she’s devoted to him but this was their worst row yet and everyone can see it’s going to be a tough road ahead.”
