Lauren Goodger has hit out at her ex Mark Wright for kicking her out of a restaurant, claiming he thinks he’s “the King of Essex”.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren believes former fiancé Mark was behind her ejection from eatery Sheesh in Chigwell.
Blow bar owner Lauren claims she was devastated after being asked to leave the establishment after being told “Mark was arriving”, according to The Sun Online.
She said: “Mark thinks he’s the King of Essex. He’s so up his own arse.
“I’d been sitting outside of Sheesh for a couple of minutes when two burly bouncers walked up to me.
“I said, ‘Is everything OK?’ I still haven’t eaten a bean or had a sip of a drink. The one I didn’t know said to me, ‘You haven’t dined here tonight.’ I said, ‘I tried to and I wasn’t allowed…’
“He then said, ‘No, don’t talk over me, and Mark Wright’s on his way so I think it’s best you leave.’
“I said, ‘OK, no worries.’ I was so intimidated by these two big blokes standing over me and leaning over me into my face. I wanted the ground to swallow me up, I was so embarrassed and upset.”
Mark, who is now married to actress Michelle Keegan, apparently then pulled into the car park of the restaurant and reversed back out when he saw Lauren walking to her car.
When Lauren left, she says he drove back in, prompting her to believe he was trying to prove a point by showing her he was arriving after she had been asked to leave.
Lauren said: “I feel like I’ve been dismissed like I’m nothing. It was so callous.”
A representative for Mark told the newspaper that Mark had nothing to do with Lauren being asked to leave Sheesh.
However, Lauren believes this is not the case, saying: “Six days ago I trained in the gym opposite him. We don’t speak. It’s like we’re strangers. What is he going to do? Get me banned from everywhere?
“I can train in the same gym as him and be a few yards away and we don’t look at each other or speak but as soon as I want to go out somewhere he’s got a bit of power, he’ll want to remove me.”
Lauren added that her imprisoned boyfriend Joey Morrison, who has been in jail since 2008 for drug offences, is upset and angry for her.
She claims Mark knows Joey and his family and he would have been too scared to get her ejected from the restaurant if Joey was there.
