It was only recent that Lauren denied claims that she has split from her boyfriend
After months of speculation on whether Lauren Goodger and her boyfriend Joey Morrison had split, the TOWIE star has finally confirmed they have parted ways.
The couple who were friends first, started their relationship while Joey is serving a 16-year prison sentence for drug related charges. There were previous reports that the reality star had split from her partner after she reportedly told all her friends she was single while drunk.

Lauren then seemingly denied the rumours on Twitter, when she wrote: "I'm telling you now no one could hear what I was saying last night as my voice is going going gone..... take no notice of drunk talk!"
It then came to light that the reality star was having doubt over her relationship, shortly before she was pictured leaving a club holding another man's hand. One of her close friends then spoke out and described the reality stars relationship with Joey as a "prison sentence".
Now, the 30-year-old star confessed to her 700k Instagram followers that the pair had parted ways. Opening up, she explained: "There's been a lot of speculation and claims recently about me and Joey, about my weight and our relationship.
"We haven't been together for a few months now and I haven't said anything until now as I don't have to explain my every move and should be allowed to deal with things in my own time.
"My antics out and about recently are because I am single and enjoying myself with my friends."
She went on to say: "Me and Joey are still speaking, and we're good friends as nothing happened to make us fall out. I wanted to put it into my own words so it can't get twisted and also because of all the 'sources' out there and people saying stuff.
"Joey will be home in not too long hopefully and I will see him as we've been through this last year and half together and have a friendship and respect for each other.
"He's helped me a lot just as I've been there for him so of course we'll remain friends. #always #love #respect #bond."

Lauren has hinted at her next career move after announcing she wants to quit showbiz and although she's not in the latest TOWIE series, we do know that four former stars are returning.
