Lauren Goodger embroiled in new bum riddle

She has baffled fans with the increased size of her bottom, and now Lauren Goodger has once again sparked surgery speculation after stepping out with a drastically bigger bum last week.

One fan wrote, "Wow, her bum looks so much bigger!" Another noticed how different the pic looked to the figure she displays on Instagram, posting, "There she is, the real Lauren without 7,000 filters."

Others speculated she’d had a Brazilian butt lift (BBL) – a procedure where the bottom is made larger or more round by transferring fat into it from elsewhere in the body.

Plastic surgeon Mark Ho-Asjoe says, "Exercises that focus on the glutes can help change the shape of a bottom, as does weight gain, but Lauren’s bottom is extreme – it has really changed in both shape and size.

"I think Lauren’s either had the Brazilian butt lift and topped this up with an additional fat transfer, or had bottom implants.

"There’s even a trend at the moment for combination procedures – implants and then fat transfers to build up the bottom. This can’t be done in the UK, though, only abroad."

Lauren, 33 – who has previously undergone a boob job, liposuction and a nose job, as well as regularly having fillers in her face and lips – was first met with BBL claims in 2016, but denied she’d gone under the knife, saying, "I’ve always had a bum, but I lost it when I lost all that weight last year. I was gutted, so I’m glad it’s back – bigger and better than before."

Later that year, she revealed that a strict exercise regime is how she increased the size of her behind, saying, "I do squats, but that only counts for about 20 per cent of what you see. The other 80 per cent is weight training. Jumping is a brilliant exercise to do as well."

In 2018, she was snapped carrying a large rectangular cushion usually used after BBLs to prevent too much pressure being put on the bottom following surgery, in order to maintain its curved appearance.

She later added that she wasn’t fazed by the speculation or comments from trolls, saying, "I don’t really care what people say about me. But I found [the rumours] entertaining. I thought it was quite a compliment for everyone to think that I must have had something done."

Lauren has repeatedly hit out at the paparazzi and accused them of editing their pictures and "trying to get a bad angle" to make her look "totally different shape-wise".

Last year, she posted on Instagram, "These paparazzi scumbags need to stop making me look 4 times the size!!! They pick and choose when to make me look like real life". Ironically, Lauren herself has been caught out editing her Instagram photos, having admitted to doing so on Loose Women last year.

Reality star Jemma Lucy – who has undergone two bum lifts – says she’s sure that the former TOWIE star has had surgery on her bottom. In 2017, she said, "[Lauren’s] had [a BBL]. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you can’t put a perception out there that isn’t real to younger people. It’s not achievable to get something that’s not naturally in your genetics."

Lauren is no stranger to transforming her body. In 2016 she lost 4st, going from a size 18 to a size 8, and released a fitness DVD to promote her weight loss.

But the weight crept back on and a year later she was a size 12 again, blaming an "addiction to Pop Tarts".

She expressed her regret at getting jaw fillers last year, when she was papped with a "square face" – but now Lauren has launched her own cosmetic procedure company called LG Beauty and Aesthetics, and undergone a four-day course to become a cosmetic practitioner so that she can administer fillers to clients.

Lauren has documented her first few clients on Instagram, showing videos of herself injecting clients in their lips and cheeks. And she’s even advertised for a "Filler Party" this month, writing that she "can’t wait to make you all look beautiful."

The star has had an ongoing battle with her confidence over the years, and in 2018 described her body as "swollen", "disgusting" and "huge”. Earlier this month she announced she was on a new mission to lose weight in a bid to achieve her dream body.
